The colour of Chateau Petit-Village 2015 is deep cherry red. Its fresh expressive nose combines aromas of dark fruit with slightly spicy notes. Intense and concentrated on the palate with aromas of cherry it reveals silky tannins. The finish is long refined and velvety. This wine ends with superb aromatic persistence.

The color is an enticingly dense inky black. On the nose the wine shows well-defined aromas both varied and appealing. A fruity style of blueberry black currant and blackberry has a focused lightly cooked character.
Another brilliant offering from Pavie…a stunningly rich dense purple-colored wine displaying a smorgasbord of red and black fruits intermixed with notions of crushed rocks spring flowers and subtle wood. During the first two weeks of August the colour change was short and even on each of the properties. The grapes developed in radiant dry weather conditions. Light showers appeared in mid-September to re-boost the ripening process on the terroirs offering less water retention thus perfecting the maturation of the tannins.

Both in terms of taste and analysis the 2018 vintage is a blend of power and freshness. Once again the Merlot grapes structure the wines and provide density and aromatic richness. This vintage will also remain a great year for the Cabernets francs. They give the blend a formidable complexity and a great freshness.
