Color : Deep purple and Garnet hues. Aroma : Dark cassis plum cherry black olive lavender and soft spice characters. Palate : Medium to full bodied with plush silky tannins and persistent mouthfeel and depth.
This wine has a fresh bouquet of bright red fruit mixed with light violet scents; indeed a little Chambolle-like in style. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry with blood orange fusing with red cherry/kirsch notes with good delineation on the finish.
This wine offers a cool scent of black cherry and licorice and a noble rusticity to its very ripe plush flavors of black raspberry and spices. There is good energy from its saline minerality and a note of granite. Broad tannins won’t prevent early enjoyment.
A candied tropical nose. On the palate ripe butterscotch flavors with an easy silky texture. Golden Delicious apple flavor and quite floral too with a minty finish.
