Bordelais in style and taste due to factors of lower alcohol even ripening and moderate barrel treatment. Most importantly though this is a very attractive California Cabernet Sauvignon blended with enough Merlot to make the wine complex yet bright and fresh.
The result is a textbook hillside vineyard closely spaced on a steep southern exposure. The crop is kept naturally small the budwood insures that the grapes are intensely flavorful and our certified organic farming sees to it that the finished wine is produced as naturally as possible.
Deep ruby in color with a purple hue the Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits red berry notes—such as currant and cherry—followed by Mediterranean aromatic herbs hints of tobacco leaf and cedar on the nose. The palate boasts pomegranate notes and finishes with graphite-like minerally tannins.
