2020 Domaine William Fevre Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume Lush floral elegant and mineral-laden the Fourchaume makes for a delightful dinner guest. Deriving from the estate’s three-acre holding on the right bank of the Serein River this ’12 Fourchaume puts its best Chablis foot forward in a manner that highlights the region’s typicity with an abundance of white flowers wet stones green apples and plums and a touch of saline-accented minerality. As delicious as this wine’s palate is its texture is even more seductive; racy and bracing this wine is nonetheless rich and dense offering a treat for the senses.
