Les Tourelles de la Cree is crafted by the renowned winemaking team of the venerable 15th Century wine estate Chateau de la Cree located in Santenay. ‘Knights Templar Cuvee’ is a blend of Pinot Noir sourced from compelling vineyards throughout the Cote de Beaune a region once farmed by the legendary Knights Templar after their return from the holy crusades of the 11th and 12th centuries. Featuring Pinot Noir vines exceeding 100 years in age from the vineyards of Maranges and Monthelie. High toned rhubarb bright cherry and earth meld with notes of tobacco and black tea. On the palate red fruit and spice along with a lovely minerality lead to a long well-balanced finish.
