Some people might say that the same estate was born lucky located a few kilometres north of Bordeaux on the famous Medoc peninsula at the heart of the equally well-known Margaux appellation._x000D_

Its 25 hectares of wines grown on a terroir that is jealously envied by many…_x000D_

Here the ground is made up mainly of gravel and pebbles that hardly withhold any rainwater at all. The wine roots therefore have to seek water very deep down and at times suffer from the much discussed “hydric stress” which is essential in order to produce wines with great character._x000D_

Today careful precise work starts in the vines managed on a plot by plot basis._x000D_

The harvest waits until the fruit is optimally ripe when it is then picked by hand carried in trays and meticulously sorted to ensure scrupulous selection._x000D_

Then the wines are made of course traditionally but including the latest technologies to carry the plot by plot focus right through ensuring the greatest of care for the benefit of the fruit to extract the very best from it._x000D_

It is carried out in oak casks whose wood is expertly dosed to bring its indispensable contribution to the wine’s overall balance_x000D_
