This has the same deep color as the previous wines. Quite uniform a little riper on the nose than the first two wines and on the palate too a little more ripeness. Good Pinot character with dark chocolate mint along with some smoke and tobacco. There is a bit of tannin on the finish.
Grape Variety : Pinot Noir. Character : Well rounded quaffable. A fine wine and one of satenay’s best known. Good keeping potential 5-10 years or even longer.
Color : Dark garnet. Aroma : Cassis black raspberry and licorice with hints of cedar and bergamot. Taste : Full-bodied with cassis and black raspberry licorice notes chewy textured tannins.

It is characteristically ruby red in color with garnet highlights. It is rich and expressive on the nose with dried roses cherries leather pepper tar and truffle aromas. On the palate it is dense and fleshy with a creamy luscious texture evolving in the glass showing the best of the Serralunga d’Alba cru.
