2019 Pasqua 11 Minutes Rose
2019 Pasqua 11 Minutes Rose, From Treviso, Veneto, Italy
The Corvina varietal, which dominates in terms of percentage, was chosen for the floral aromas as well as the significant acidity it gives to the wine. Trebbiano brings elegance and a long finish. Syrah adds fruit and spice notes and Carmenere creates structure, ensuring stability over time. This a fresh, enveloping rosé with an beautiful bouquet perfect to accompany summer evenings and more.
Pronounced strawberry and peach scents. A fascinating blend with marked salty-fruit tension and concentration. Finishes clean and fresh; delicious.
Pasqua Vigneti e Cantine is a historic company producing quality Veneto and Italian wines. Through almost 100 years of history, the company has established itself on the international scene with its products, particularly red wines, which are synonymous with great winemaking tradition. Tradition, innovation, quality, research and passion are values passed on generation to generation in the Pasqua family and today are represented by the native wines from the Veneto region and the great Italian classics with DOC, DOCG and IGT denominations distributed in every continent.
Producing every style of wine and with great success, the Veneto is one of the most multi-faceted wine regions of Italy.
Veneto’s appellation called Valpolicella (meaning “valley of cellars” in Italian) is a series of north to south valleys and is the source of the region’s best red wine with the same name. Valpolicella—the wine—is juicy, spicy, tart and packed full of red cherry flavors. Corvina makes up the backbone of the blend with Rondinella, Molinara, Croatina and others playing supporting roles. Amarone, a dry red, and Recioto, a sweet wine, follow the same blending patterns but are made from grapes left to dry for a few months before pressing. The drying process results in intense, full-bodied, heady and often, quite cerebral wines.
