Domaine de la Tonnellerie Sancerre is light and dry, mineral intense but elegant. An awesome value at this price.
|Delicate mineral notes of chalk and slate with good citrus and melon in the nose. Fairly rich in the middle with nice snap. Firm acidity brace this wine so that it will stand up to and marry well with fish, shellfish and goat cheese. The wine is quite floral and high toned in the nose while having a rich, full-bodied middle.|
|Father and son Thiriot sway over Domaine La Tonnellerie in the hamlet of Bué, but despite that it is a small village, 350 inhabitants, Bué is considered the finest and best Sancerre.|
