2019 Details By Sinegal Cabernet Sauvignon
2019 Details By Sinegal Cabernet Sauvignon The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Details is stunning. Vibrant and explosive in the glass. Gravel, crushed rocks, menthol, licorice, plum and incense saturate the palate. This inky, structured Cabernet is one of the very finest Cabernets readers will find in its price point, or virtually any price point, for that matter. The 2019 is a blend from sites in Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley and Knights Valley.
This is a must for Cab lovers. In 2013 the Sinegal Family was able to purchase one of the original great wine properties in St Helena from the Wolf Family. The original Inglewood Estate which began in 1879 and started planting vines in 1879. This is a magnificent historical property that is right at the base of the Mayacamas Mountain Range. The property is run by David Sinegal who is a brilliant business strategist and visionary. He has put a Napa dream together to ensure success. Jim Barbour was hired to plant and manage the vineyard. He is responsible for maintaining (and planting) some of Napa’s most fabulous vineyards, including Blankiet, Fantesca, Grace Family, and Hundred Acre. He hired Ryan Knoth to make the wine who had the honor of working under David Abreu, Michel Rolland, and Fredrik Johansson at Staglin Family Vineyard and Jim Barbour and Philippe Melka at Gandona Winery. He hired Tony Biagi to consult who was named by 2020 Wine Maker of the year in Napa by Gallon and has or does make wine for Plumpjack, Cade and Hourglass.
Today we have the 2019 Sinegal Cabernet ‘Details’ that has received a huge 96 pts by the very conservative Galloni for Vinous. This is a massive score from him for a Cabernet under $50, a throw back price such spectacular quality. The passion behind this wine was to create an exceptional California wine at an affordable price and wow did they succeed. This Cabernet delivers elegance, depth, and power in one stunning wine. While supplies last, I strongly recommend!
